Passive House Presentation At Eagle Bluff Saturday - November 15, 2008 6:30 p.m.
This Saturday, we have a group of honor students from UWStout coming to Eagle Bluff
to begin to assess how to convert the Director's Residence to Passive House
standards which are now becoming the building code in Europe.  A Passive
trained architect has agreed to come down and give a 90 minute overview to
the students and others who are interested on Passive Design.  The program
would begin in the Schroeder building at 6:30 PM.  Please let me know if you
can join us and bring along anyone else who would be interested.  There is

About the Workshop:

This FREE half-day workshop co-sponsored by the Metropolitan Energy Policy Coalition (MEPC) and the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency will highlight the operational aspects of greenhouse gas (GHG) accounting and emissions reductions efforts.  By collaboratively learning about greenhouse gas monitoring and emissions reductions in the present, local government managers, administrators, staff, and elected officials will be prepared to successfully navigate implementation challenges in the near future.  This workshop will examine local, state, and national GHG reductions efforts while specifically focusing on the regulatory, fiscal, and operational implications that will impact local governments
